The fusion of robotics and artificial intelligence is sparking new international collaborations. IntBot and Certis have announced a strategic alliance aimed at developing “socially intelligent” robotic solutions for enterprise and public settings in Singapore.
The duo stated: “This partnership reflects growing industry acceptance of physical AI, as socially aware robots transition from experimental demonstrations to fully functional real-world implementations.”
According to both companies, they will merge IntBot’s General Social Intelligence platform with Certis’s expertise in managing large-scale, mission-critical operations. Together, they will develop humanoid concierge and assistance solutions capable of functioning within active operational spaces—where robots need to engage naturally with humans while fulfilling real-world demands for safety, dependability, and effective service.
IntBot claims its humanoid platform is fully ready for large-scale rollout
IntBot maintained that joining forces with Certis proves its physical AI system, deployment methodology, and enterprise framework are prepared to scale throughout busy public venues in Singapore and internationally.
“As multimodal models continue to improve, the key challenge for embodied AI has shifted from task execution to human interaction,” explained Lei Yang, co-founder and CEO of IntBot. “A robot’s performance in public areas increasingly depends on how well it connects with people, and Singapore’s leadership in smart infrastructure makes it the perfect testing ground for physical AI. Collaborating with Certis means our intelligence technology is supported by top-tier operational dependability.”
Headquartered in San Jose, California, IntBot designs and manufactures humanoid robots intended for autonomous operation in everyday human environments. The company noted: “When robots operate alongside people—not confined behind barriers—social engagement becomes a core component of their function.”
The firm explained that its robots can read human intentions, grasp social situations, and respond naturally in busy public settings like hotels, conferences, and campuses. By fusing real-time multimodal sensing with a closed-loop interaction cycle, the pledges its robots deliver dependable social autonomy that continuously improves using real-world deployment data. IntBot also revealed it is currently active in the hospitality sector, setting the stage for broader human-robot cooperation across service industries.
Certis aims to deliver fully integrated services
Certis stated that partnering with IntBot aligns with its wider robotics vision: embedding robotic systems within real-world operations as part of a comprehensive operational technology ecosystem that unites people, processes, infrastructure, and machines. The Singapore-based firm outlined that it will define use cases, streamline workflows, and establish deployment standards so humanoid robots can enhance service quality in demanding environments.
“We believe the next chapter of enterprise robotics will be shaped by how seamlessly robots integrate into live operations alongside human workers,” stated Raahul Kumar, chief executive for international and robotics and chief strategy officer at Certis.
“Our core competency lies in designing and managing complex frontline operations,” he continued. “By combining IntBot’s social intelligence expertise with Certis’s strengths in operational design and frontline rollout, we can deploy humanoid robots that relieve frontline staff in challenging roles, while giving the public a more natural way to interact with their everyday surroundings.”
Certis outlined that it manages security, facilities operations, and workforce coordination as a unified operational model, synchronizing personnel, systems, and procedures. The company emphasized that its methodology is “built on structured operational design, where workflows, processes, and resources are meticulously engineered for specific outcomes.” Certis expects AI and robotics will enhance coordination, oversight, and daily execution across client operations.
Partners to explore multiple social robot applications
IntBot and Certis outlined plans to support a variety of customer-facing applications, including wayfinding, visitor support, multilingual communication, customer service assistance, and frontline operational reinforcement. The collaboration will cover transit hubs, hospitality venues, healthcare facilities, retail outlets, and other public locations.
By embedding social intelligence into humanoid platforms, the partnership intends to help robots move past rigid, scripted tasks and become more flexible, intuitive, and capable of naturally supporting people in daily environments.
Both organizations are preparing for early pilot rollouts in Singapore as the technology and applications continue to develop. Certis serves regional markets such as Australia and Qatar, employing a global team exceeding 25,000 people.
