Note: This article has been revised to indicate that the Ninja Slushi 88 oz is currently unavailable at Amazon for $200. However, the deal can still be found at Best Buy as of the time of republication. Walmart has also sold out of this offer.
Save $150: The Ninja Slushi 88 oz machine is priced at $200 (marking a 42% discount and $150 in savings) as part of Best Buy’s competing sale running alongside Amazon’s Prime Day event, which wraps up in just a few hours. This price is significantly lower than the previous lowest recorded price of $240 earlier this year.

After testing the Ninja Slushi over several months, I can say it’s been a noteworthy addition to my collection of kitchen gadgets. While it’s far from essential, it’s enjoyable and straightforward to operate, capable of transforming virtually any beverage into a frozen delight in under half an hour.
This deal initially sold out earlier in the week at both Walmart and Amazon, so it’s uncertain how much longer Best Buy’s promotion will last.
The Ninja Slushi comes in multiple size variations ranging from 72 to 150 ounces. I had the opportunity to test the Slushi Max version, which accommodates up to 112 oz of liquid. While it shares most of its core functionality with the smaller versions, the Max stands out with Ninja’s SlushAssist technology, which automatically fine-tunes the temperature to achieve the ideal slush consistency based on the type of liquid you’re using, along with several other advanced features.

Apart from this feature, all the machines operate in much the same fashion, with the primary differences being the liquid capacity and a handful of slush settings. In short, the larger the capacity, the more features you’ll get. The Ninja Slushi is designed with a few components that can be quickly taken apart and put back together for hassle-free cleaning.

When you’re ready to make a slushie, just pour in your preferred beverage and pick one of the five available slush modes: Slush, Spiked Slush, Frappe, Milkshake, and Frozen Juice. You can also tweak the temperature to make your drink colder or warmer to suit your taste. The Ninja Slushi includes a recipe book, and I’ve tried several of the recipes — frozen mimosas, chocolate shakes, and others — or you can experiment freely and create your own custom frozen concoctions. The Ninja Slushi promises to turn nearly any drink into a frozen treat, and based on my experience, that claim holds up pretty well.
That said, there are a few caveats. The machine requires liquids that contain at least 4% sugar, whether naturally present or added through simple syrup, sugar, or other sugar-based supplements, depending on the recipe. The upper limit for alcohol content in a liquid mix to be slushed is 20% ABV.

Overall, I ran into no problems while using the recipe book or following online recipes for both mocktails and cocktails (and other frozen treats), but if you enjoy experimenting on your own as your personal mixologist, be aware that there are some functional constraints. It took me roughly 25 minutes to slush the frozen mimosa mixture, after which I needed to adjust the temperature to get it a bit more frozen. In total, within about 30 minutes, I had enough slushie for approximately 8-12 people, making it the ideal refreshing treat for a gathering.
The positives: At a glance, the Ninja Slushi effortlessly creates icy beverages that are perfect for parties, sweltering summer days, or any moment you’re in the mood for something cold. I find it remarkably simple to use and clean, though you do need to be thorough about letting all the components dry completely before putting them back together or putting them away.

The drawbacks: The most significant downsides of the machine are its considerable weight (though I’d expect the smaller models to be hefty as well) and the fact that it’s extremely noisy during operation. Because the system needs to keep churning to maintain the slushie at the right temperature, the noise level can be overpowering in a compact space or during a quiet get-together. Some online reviews have also mentioned mold developing in the liquid chamber, but I haven’t encountered this issue myself and would recommend towel-drying and air-drying all parts thoroughly before storage.
How I rated this deal
With a 42% discount, this deal earns a 5/5 editor’s rating — for a premium appliance that has never been discounted to this extent, it’s genuinely an exceptional offer unlike anything I’ve come across while covering deals and shopping events. I wouldn’t hesitate if you’re considering picking up a Ninja Slushi. The deal recently sold out on Amazon, so Best Buy’s inventory is likely to move fast, and Amazon’s sale is winding down.
When will this deal expire?
This deal is expected to conclude with Prime Day, which ends on June 26th. While there may be leftover deals or competing offers afterward, if you’re eyeing this price on the Ninja Slushi 88 oz, I wouldn’t delay.
